Open graphic-resource library for designers
Design Drop is an open graphic-resource library for the design community. It has fast browsing and asset previews, on a backend built to support subscriptions, creators and paid distribution later.

Concept cover for the original resource library, which planned for creator onboarding and subscriptions.
Where they were stuck.
It started as internal asset organisation. It grew into an open resource library that had to be quick to use now and support paid features later without a rebuild.
How we shipped it.
- 01
Turned the internal asset database into a public open-source library, leaving room for creator onboarding, subscriptions and monetisation later.
- 02
Built the backend on Laravel Spark so authentication, user management and later commercial controls were there from the start.
- 03
Used Laravel Nova for content and user admin, so most frontend work could go into the public site.
- 04
Designed a dark interface with modular asset cards that put thumbnails and metadata first, so browsing stays fast.
