A PDF tool interface organised by task
An interface study for choosing a PDF operation and following the file workflow. The work shown covers task grouping and page hierarchy; it does not establish usage totals or how documents are processed.

Choosing the task.
The design question is how to distinguish PDF operations before selecting a file. Merging files, splitting pages and changing page orientation are different tasks. The task map makes those choices visible before the file-selection step.
The interface decisions.
- 01
Start with operation names. Merge files, Split pages and Rotate pages describe the choice before asking someone to select a document.
- 02
Pair each operation with a short explanation: combine documents, separate pages or change orientation. These labels describe the intended task, not a tested processing implementation.
- 03
Present file selection, processing and download as separate stages. The map documents the interface sequence; it is not a demonstration of a working PDF tool.
